We’re Madi + Shaq, the duo behind Wood Be Vows. On wedding days, our approach is calm, natural, and true-to-color—because we believe your story is already beautiful, just as it is.

What we love most are the in–between moments: your mom tearing up during the father–daughter dance, or the little gestures you share without even noticing. Those are the things we want you to feel all over again every time you look back at your photos and films.

Outside of weddings, you can usually find us walking our pups Riley + Luna, camping at the beach, cooking something new in the kitchen, or making little videos of our own life so one day our kids can see the story we were writing too. We also love spending time at home—whether it’s painting, gardening, or tackling new home projects, we’re always looking for the beauty in everyday moments and finding ways to make each scene feel like a movie.
